On Wednesday 1 July at St Michael’s Belfield, a Solemn High Mass according to the Traditional Croatian Glagolitic Rite will be celebrated for the Feast of the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord.

For centuries, Croatian Catholics have preserved the unique privilege of celebrating the Holy Mass in Old Church Slavonic (“Glagoljica”).

This Mass will be celebrated as a Solemn High Mass with deacon and subdeacon, and is believed to be the first Solemn Glagolitic High Mass held in Australia in decades.
