Our culture presents numerous obstacles to true unity with God, and Exodus 90 stands as a transformative journey towards liberation.

As we usher in a new year, many men often focus on resolutions pertaining to their physical well-being. However, it’s equally important, if not more so, to consider resolutions for our spiritual lives. Starting on the 20th of January, Exodus 90 offers a unique opportunity to make a commitment to progress in virtue and holiness, fostering a deeper connection with God as we navigate the challenges of the modern world.

What is Exodus 90?

Exodus 90 beckons you on a 90-day pilgrimage through the Book of Exodus, unravelling the parallels between our lives and the ancient Israelites’ journey and guiding us toward freedom from our contemporary ‘modern Pharaohs.’ Rooted in the wisdom of the early Church’s desert fathers, this spiritual exercise revolves around three pillars: prayer, asceticism, and fraternity.

Daily Silent Prayer: Dedicate one Holy Hour to silent prayer, Scripture reading, and reflections using the Exodus app.
Fasting and Abstinence: Wednesdays and Fridays mark days of fasting and abstaining from meat.
Cold Showers: Challenge yourself with invigorating cold showers.
Media Detox: Bid farewell to TV, movies, and televised sports for 90 days.
Weekly Fraternity Meetings: Connect with your fraternity of men to share experiences, challenges, and victories.
Daily Accountability: Check in with your Anchor, a chosen brother, on a daily basis.

Pridružite nam se na 90-dnevnoj korizmenoj duhovnoj vježbi za muškarce

20. siječnja započinjemo naše 90-dnevno putovanje koje nas vodi kroz korizmu i završava na Uskrsnu nedjelju.

Exodus90 je katolički duhovni program za MUŠKE koji  omogućuje sudionicima da se približite Bogu, da preuzmu kontrolu nad svojim životom i postanu bolji. Prošle godine oko 80 muškaraca različitih dobi iz naše Hrvatske zajednice u Sydneyu  sudjedlovali su u programu te se žele upisati i ove godine.

Program počinje 20. siječnja, 90 dana prije Uskrsa. Bit će to vrijeme molitve, samoodricanja, izgradnja samodiscipline i  bratstva (tjedni susret sudionika iz naše Hrvatske zajednice).
” Izlazak” u Exodus90, odnosi se na Knjigu Izlaska u Bibliji; tako nazvanoj zbog izlaska izraelskog naroda iz Egipatskog ropstva.
Broj 90, odnosi se na broj trajanja Programa; 90 dana je potrebno da se razbiju loše navike i formiraju dobre (tako kažu ljudi koji znaju).
Odvojite vrijeme za pogledati video i podijelite drugima. Dobro je potaknuti i druge na rast u vjeri.

Join us for our annual men’s mass to celebrate the Anniversary of Oluja 95 – Homeland Thanksgiving Day – Veterans Day.

Always a great turn out, uplifting homily, opportunity for confession and as usual socialising with other brothers, (cancel your sport & other activities for this night).

7.30pm: Krunica (Rosary).

8:00pm: Holy Mass

St. Anthony’s – Croatian Catholic Church Summer Hill, 15 Prospect Rd, Ashfield.

Join us after Mass for some traditional Croatian delicacies plus refreshments.

Bog i Hrvati

Join us for our annual men’s mass to honour Our Lady of Fatima. Always a great turn out, uplifting homily, opportunity for confession and as usual socialising with other brothers.

8:00pm, 13th May 2024, Croatian Catholic Center St. Nikola Tavelić,  86 – 90 Brisbane Road St Johns Park

7.30pm, Krunica (Rosary) – Confession will be available during this time.
